Valuing early stage companies is never easy. By applying a thoughtful approach, though, setting an appropriate valuation does not have to be a complete guess. In this one-hour session, Ham & Christopher will survey current valuation methods and introduce a new, comprehensive, “realism” based framework anyone can adopt to better understand the drivers and trade-offs involved in valuing start-ups. They’ll share the approach they’ve developed and use to set and negotiate valuations.
This approach was recently presented and very well received by the Angel Capital Association Summit delegation in Boston. Christopher and Ham have made over 100 investments between them. They are the co-founders of the angel portfolio management tool Seraf and specialise in angel education.
